High speed internet is on the inclusions list, and so is electricity backup: a generator and a UPS. Those two lines together are what a single day here is really buying, because neither of them is much use on its own.

The meeting room, the huddle rooms and the pod rooms sit inside the pass rather than on top of it. Room time runs against a monthly quota rather than an unlimited promise, so ask at reception what is free before you build the day around one.

The cafeteria takes up a floor of its own, tea and coffee are unlimited, and a vending machine covers the hours in between. A single day does not get served a smaller cup than a year does.

Printing is free, and there is a photocopier and a scanner. The thing that needs a signature can be printed, signed, copied and scanned back without any of it costing you a trip out and an hour of the day.

Name the day
Message on WhatsApp or ring 0311 2200818 and say which date you want. It costs you a minute and it means somebody is expecting you, rather than finding out when you are standing at the desk.

Arrive while reception is open
Staffed 9AM to 9PM, Monday to Saturday. That window is when there is a person at the desk to sell you a pass, and it is deliberately narrower than the hours the floor itself keeps.

Bring a laptop and a charger
That is honestly the whole list. The connection, the backup power, the printing and the tea are all on the pass, so the dongle, the power bank and the flask can stay where they are.

Ask what your day runs to
Monthly shared desks are sold by shift. Nothing of the sort is printed against a day pass, and we would rather you had the hours from whoever hands you one than from a page that cannot see the date. Ask, then settle in.

You are in Lahore for a few days
A hotel room is a bed with a desk pushed against it. This is a desk with a building around it, and if the trip runs longer than planned the pass can simply be bought again in the morning.

A dead router, a cut, drilling in the flat upstairs. You can lose the morning solving it, or you can spend PKR 2,000 and lose nothing else that day.

The unflattering bit
Past 10 days, stop buying passes.
This is the sentence a day pass page is not supposed to contain, so here it is early. One pass is PKR 2,000. A shared desk is PKR 20,000 for the entire month. So 10 passes inside one month have already spent what that month costs, and every pass bought after them is simply money.

Open 24/7 for members, and the front desk is a separate matter we will not blur into it: staffed 9AM to 9PM, Monday to Saturday. The shift windows belong to the monthly shared desk plans and none is printed against the day pass, so take the hours yours runs to from the person at reception rather than from a web page.
